DOLCE & GABBANA PARTY WITH VOGUE
In town for just five days, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana managed to pack in two store openings, a dinner thrown by Anna Wintour on their behalf, a men's fragrance launch, and a banquet at the Gramercy Park Hotel. Either the designers have boundless energy or a hidden stash of Red Bull. "It's the Dolce & Gabbana life: more, more, more!" explained Gabbana at the Gramercy Park fête. "We don't like to do things small.

" True to their word, the duo ensured that their Tuesday-night party was lavish and its invitees strictly A-list. Many guests, including Kate Hudson, Eva Mendes, Alek Wek, and Julia Restoin-Roitfeld worked the room in?what else??Dolce & Gabbana frocks. Anne Hathaway dubbed her pencil skirt and jeweled top "nerd glam," Lauren Davis' frothy cocktail dress was a "Jackson Pollock cupcake," and Jacquetta Wheeler characterized her red satin number as "sexy Santa." Surveying the scene, Dolce was ready to declare the trip a success. "Look at all the glamour," he said. "Molto bene! I will be very sad to leave tomorrow."

LUXURY SUBMARINE
For the person who has everything, here's the luxury personal submarine:
This design, which we have named the Phoenix 1000, has more than ample space. The total interior area of the submarine is in excess of 460 square meters (5000 square feet). The significant volume, coupled with very large acrylic viewports, and the potential for relatively large open spaces, results in a vehicle as luxurious as the finest of motor yachts.

Clearly, the Phoenix provides its owner with substantially more capability than a simple yacht - the opportunity to explore the depths of the world's oceans in perfect comfort and safety. The Phoenix is capable of making trans-Atlantic crossings at 16 knots yet can dive along the route and explore the continental margins of some of the most fascinating waters on earth. And unlike surface yachts, when the water gets rough, the submarine can submerge into a perfectly smooth and quiet environment, continuing on toward its destination, providing a ride unsurpassed in quality-unequaled by the finest motor coach or the most luxurious executive aircraft.

The Phoenix would be suitable for use as an exclusive submarine cruise ship or as a charter yacht.

The estimated price of the Phoenix is $78 million.
