ARMANI STORE OPENING
VICTORIA BECKHAM, LEONARDO DiCAPRIO and JOHN MAYER were among the stars who turned out to celebrate the opening of GIORGIO ARMANI's flagship New York store on Tuesday (17Feb09).

The iconic Italian fashion designer revealed his new 42,000 square foot store on the Big Apple's 5th Avenue and invited a host of Hollywood's most famous faces to kick of the shop's unveiling with style.
Other attendees at the exclusive party included Alicia Keys, Ricky Martin, Mira Sorvino, Liam Neeson, Josh Hartnett and Solange Knowles.

But it was style icon Beckham who garnered the most attention, gracing the red carpet in a revealing silver dress, despite the city's freezing temperatures.
And the former Spice Girl, who is the body of Armani's latest lingerie campaign, couldn't help but gush over the designer - confessing she'd love for her own designs to be as desirable as his.

She told reporters, "I have so much respect for Mr. Armani - you know, I can dream."

ISRAELI MODEL BAR REFAELI LANDS SPORTS ILLUSTRATED SWIMSUIT ISSUE COVER
Israeli model Bar Refaeli has been chosen to be the cover girl for this years Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, considered one of the most lucrative contracts for models in the fashion industry.

The 23-year-old Refaeli, who is the girlfriend of actor Leonardo DiCaprio, has appeared in the last three editions of the popular special annual edition of the American magazine, but this is her first cover for it.

NATALIA VODIANOVA DESIGNS FOR ETAM
Now she is turning her hand to designing as well, starting with a lingerie collection for French label Etam. Vodianova, who recently signed a three-year deal to be the brands global ambassador, will produce a capsule collection each season called Natalia pour Etam. Initial pieces include a silk nightgown inspired by a vintage piece from her personal collection, a gray lace corset, and polka dot bra and pantie sets. "What I realized when designing this is how feminine I am," Vodianova says. "I'm feminine to the bone." We won't argue with that. Last night, I had the pleasure of working on the red carpet at the Victoria's Secret Lexington Avenue flagship store for its grand opening. Selita Ebanks, Marissa Miller, Heidi Klum, Alessandra Ambrosio, and Doutzen Kroes all graced the runway looking absolutely flawless.

They are even more stunning in person. Osi Umenyora, Ciara, Jeremy Piven, Chanel Iman and dozens of other recognizable faces all entered the party for a wonderful evening sponsored by Cape North Vodka.

HERMES KELLY BAG SPECIAL EDITION
Brief History: It all began in the 1880?s, when the legendary house began as making saddles under the name of Hermes-Freres. Then by the 1920?s Hermes introduced their first line of ladies handbags.

In 1956 while pregnant with Princess Caroline, Princess Grace Kelly of Monaco was photographed in New York City by Life Magazine carrying the large black crocodile Kelly bag, which was used to cover her pregnant tummy. After this image appeared on the cover of Life Mag, the bag became a hit and was later renamed the Kelly bag.

Guess how much the bag sold for? $80,906, with all proceeds from the sale of the bag going to Princess Grace?s daughter Princess Stephanie?s charity Fight Aids Monaco.
